Get to know the school .

Surrounded by a lot of greenery and by the community of inhabitants of Mariápolis Ginetta, a community that seeks to put the spirituality of the Focolare Unit into practice, young people at JPMU School are invited to live 24 hours a day with other young people, from different countries, states, religions and cultures.

“No day is the same as another. On weekends, whenever possible we have a legal activity to do. And when we don’t have it, then it’s time to stop, look at yourself, and often face what hurts us, but it is part of the maturation process that the school offers us, in addition to living with people from different countries and different cultures ” , said José Altino, from Assis, São Paulo, who is at JPMU School this semester.

And how do they try to create a new world? For six months, the duration of the school, young people participate in theoretical and practical activities involving spirituality, social work, arts, sports, ecology, among others. They develop new knowledge, skills and attitudes.

But the fundamental point for this enriching life experience lies in living with others, in a process of profound self-knowledge and giving to others, all governed by the charism of the collective spirituality of the Focolare Movement. According to this spirituality, the way to reach God, or to maximum happiness, passes without a doubt through the love of the brother.
